Yes. Once it's mounted to your vehicle, no poles or ground supports are needed to deploy it. Guy ropes and pegs are included and should be used to secure the non-trussed arms in all conditions.
12m² (129 sq ft), across a 6067mm x 3100mm footprint (19'11" x 10'2"), wrapping 270° around the side and rear of your vehicle.
315gsm (9.3oz) ripstop polycotton, cut from an ultra-wide roll so the whole 12m² canopy is built with a single seam. It's pre-treated for UV stability, mould and mildew resistance and has a 1500mm waterhead rating.

The MAX has two hinge points and a forward-folding front section, giving 12m² (129 sq ft) of coverage and reaching further around the rear of the vehicle. The 270 XT Mk2 has a single pivot, 8m² (86 sq ft) of coverage, weighs 27.8kg (61.3 lb) instead of 33.5kg (73.9 lb), and needs only 1.4m (4'7") of bracket spacing instead of 1.9m (6'3").
Choose the side you want the awning to deploy from. Most tourers fit it to the side their camp kitchen or canopy door opens onto. A LH Awning is on the passenger side of a right hand drive vehicle.

Yes. A 50mm (2") Velcro loop strip runs the internal edge for canvas and mesh wall kits, so you can run a single windbreak or fully enclose the space.
No. Poles are only recommended when you're running the optional awning wall kits, and those poles are supplied with the wall kit.

Yes. Because of the 33.5kg (73.9 lb) weight you'll want a second set of hands for lifting and bolting. Fitting instructions are available in our Guides & Instructions section, or any Bush Company stockist can fit it for you.
Any rack or set of load bars giving at least 1.9m (6'3") between your front and rear mounting points. Three adjustable L-brackets are included; the third mounts centrally for span support. Some systems, such as the ARB base rack, need additional hardware.

The Bush Company or one of our stockists can install your awning, but if you choose to install the awning yourself please make sure that you have done the due diligence to ensure that it does not create any safety issues. Please also ensure you follow all standard safety precautions when undertaking the install.
