KAON Awning Bracket Set for the Front Runner Slimline II

These Australian-designed and made KAON brackets bolt to the side profile of a Front Runner Slimline II rack with the hardware supplied, and carry a 270° or 180° awning up to 40kg (88.2 lb). They suit all Bush Company awnings, including the 270 XT MAX Awning Mk2, 270 XT Awning Mk2 and 180 XT MAX.

Why three brackets

Three brackets spread the static and dynamic load of a heavy awning along the rack, rather than concentrating it on two points. That means less stress on the rack's side profile and a steadier awning on corrugations.

Features

  • Five height positions to clear tailgates, barn doors and canopy openings, or to sit the awning lower on a tall vehicle.
  • Universal slotted face plate that suits the standard bolt patterns on most 270° and straight awnings.
  • Compact profile that sits tight to the rack and leaves the platform free for a rooftop tent, solar or other gear.
  • 3mm (0.1in) stainless steel with a textured black powder coat; 2.35kg (5.2 lb) for the set.
  • No drilling: Slimline II-specific mounting hardware included.
