For our earlier Classic and Black Series rooftop tents where your load bars can't line up with the extruded rails under the tent. The aluminium slat has the same profile as the tent's own extrusions and fits between two of them, making a bridge for the load bar to clamp to.


Sold as a pair, with all fittings; the only tool you need is a 13mm socket or spanner. These suit the earlier Classic and Black Series models only.

Slat Extension Brackets: when the load bars don't line up

Under our earlier Classic and Black Series rooftop tents, the tent mounts through extruded rails. On some vehicles the load bars simply don't sit where those rails are. The Slat Extension Brackets fix that: an aluminium slat with the same profile as the tent's extrusions fits between two of them and creates a bridge exactly where your load bar is.

Fitting tips

  • All the fittings to attach the slat to the existing extrusions are included.
  • The only tool you need is a 13mm (0.5in) socket or spanner.
  • Slide the bolt you'll use to secure the load bar into position before you attach the slat to the extrusions.
