A flush-mount QLEC socket with a 100W USB-C Power Delivery port and a 36W USB-A port, for running a compatible laptop or Starlink Mini, or charging drones and cameras, straight from your 12V or 24V system.


Fits a 29mm hole with about 63mm of depth behind the panel, and a rubber cap covers the ports when they're not in use.

Most built-in USB sockets are made for phones. This QLEC socket has a 100W USB-C Power Delivery port, enough to run many USB-C laptops or a Starlink Mini (with a suitable USB-C PD cable), plus a 36W USB-A port for everything else.

Where it suits

  • canopy and drawer panels, beside the fridge and battery system
  • dashboards and switch panels
  • caravan, camper and motorhome cabinetry
  • remote-work setups, where a laptop and satellite internet need to run off-grid

Fitting

  • Cut a 29mm (1.1in) mounting hole and allow about 63mm (2.5in) of depth behind the panel for the socket body and wiring.
  • Wire it to your 12V or 24V DC system.
  • Keep the rubber cap on when you're not using it, to keep dust and moisture out of the ports.

Fusing and installation

Our rooftop tents already have a fuse built in. If you're fitting the socket anywhere else, we recommend an inline 20A fuse, and professional installation is preferred.

Check your laptop's USB-C PD voltage and wattage needs before you connect it.
