Replacement Awning Arm, Non-Trussed

Our awnings use fully gusseted arms for most of their structure, plus one or two non-trussed arms with a honeycomb cross-section. These are the arms most at risk if the awning catches a strong gust without its guy ropes in place. The good news is they're straightforward to replace.

Arm lengths by awning

The replacement arm comes at a standard 2091mm (6'10.3"). Cut it to length if needed. Lengths are measured over the outside edges, including the PVC stopper:

  • 270 XT Awning Mk2: rear non-trussed arm, 2091mm (6'10.3") (±3mm / 0.1in)
  • 270 XT MAX Awning Mk2: front non-trussed arm, 1985mm (6'6.1") (±3mm / 0.1in)
  • 270 XT MAX Mk2: rear non-trussed arm, 2091mm (6'10.3") (±3mm / 0.1in)
  • 180 XT MAX: non-trussed arms, 1850mm (6'0.8") (±3mm / 0.1in)

The arm comes with its PVC end stopper fitted.

In windy conditions, use the supplied guy ropes and pegs on the non-trussed arm(s) to prevent upward movement. Need more? See the Guy Rope Kit with Pegs & Bag.
