A single extruded aluminium load bar supplied with a pair of High Foot Mounts. It bolts into your tent's Ezi-Slot channels with no drilling, and the top of the bar sits 60mm above the roof on the LX27 Gen 2 and 75mm on the AX27, DX27 and TX27, leaving room for a solar panel to breathe and for longer gear to ride on top.


Fits the AX27, LX27 Gen 2, TX27 and DX27. It doesn't fit the TX27 MAX, which needs the 1590mm Rooftop Tent Load Bars. Buy two for a full rack.

Load Bar with High Foot: one 1390mm (54.7in) bar, raised off the tent roof

This is a single 1390mm (54.7in) rooftop tent load bar supplied with a pair of our Load Bar High Foot Mounts, so it arrives ready to fit at the raised height. The feet bolt into the tent's Ezi-Slot channels and the bar bolts on top. There's no drilling, and you end up with a raised bar suitable for mounting our Solar Panel to Load Bar Bracket Set.

Once fitted, the top of the bar sits 60mm (2.4in) above the tent roof on the LX27 Gen 2, and 75mm (3.0in) above it on the AX27, DX27 and TX27. That extra height lets air move under a solar panel, which helps keep it cool and producing power. It also means you can still carry longer items on the roof of your tent without damaging the solar panel.

  • Extruded aluminium bar with a matte black powder coat and a low profile that keeps wind noise down.
  • Ezi-Slot channel along the bar takes our accessory brackets and M8 bolts, so you can move gear around without drilling.
  • Stainless steel High Foot Mounts with a black powder-coat finish, fitted with stainless steel M8 bolts and nyloc nuts to resist corrosion on coastal trips.

How much can it carry?

Each bar is rated to 50kg (110 lb), so a pair of bars carries up to 100kg (220 lb). On the roof, though, the limit is always the lowest rating in the chain. The tents are rated, closed, to 200kg (441 lb) dynamic (AX27), 100kg (220 lb) dynamic (LX27 Gen 2) and 75kg (165 lb) dynamic (TX27). As with any roof-mounted gear, add up everything carried on top and confirm the total is within the dynamic roof load ratings of your tent, rack and vehicle.
