Australian sun, heat, salt, dust and environmental exposure can gradually leave powder-coated surfaces looking faded, chalky and tired.
Rig Revive is specifically formulated torejuvenate faded powder coat, restoring colour depth and creating a smooth, rich finish without relying on the greasy, temporary appearance associated with conventional silicone-based dressings.

The aluminium construction and durable powder-coated finish used across The Bush Company rooftop tent range is designed for serious touring and off-road use. Like any exterior powder-coated surface, however, regular maintenance is important when it is continually exposed to UV, dust, salt and the elements.
Rig Revive is a recommended powder coat treatment for The Bush Company rooftop tents and can be used as part of the regular maintenance of compatible exterior powder-coated surfaces.
For general touring use, we recommend cleaning and treating the powder-coated surfaces approximatelyevery six months. Rooftop tents subjected to frequent coastal use, intense UV exposure or other demanding environments may require more frequent cleaning and treatment.
For best results, first clean the powder-coated surface using a suitablepH-neutral wash, such as Rig Wash, before applying Rig Revive.
Important: Rig Revive is intended for compatible powder-coated surfaces. Do not apply it to rooftop tent canvas or mesh. Always follow the separate care instructions supplied for these materials.

How to Apply Rig Revive
For the best powder coat restoration and protection, correct surface preparation and application are important.
1. Clean the surface
Thoroughly clean the powder-coated surface usingpH-neutral Rig Wash to remove dirt, grease, dust, salt and other contaminants.
Rinse thoroughly and allow the surface to dry completely.
2. Work on a cool, dry surface
Ensure the surface is completely dry and cool to the touch before application. Avoid applying Rig Revive to hot surfaces or in conditions that may cause the product to dry too quickly.
3. Test before application
Apply a small amount of Rig Revive to a lint-freeRig Wipe or suitable applicator and test it on an inconspicuous area to confirm compatibility and the resulting finish.
4. Apply the first coat
Apply a light, even coat in one direction.
Allow the product to dry naturally. Do not excessively rub or overwork the surface, as this may create streaking or an uneven finish.
5. Allow at least 30 minutes
Allow the first coat to dry for aminimum of 30 minutes before applying the second coat.
6. Apply the second coat
Apply a second light, even coat using the same technique.
Avoid heat or forced drying. Allow Rig Revive to cure naturally for the best result.
A Finish That Continues to Develop
The result doesn't stop immediately after application.
Rig Revive continues to harden and cure over the following days, allowing the depth and finish to continue developing after treatment.
