• Installation Considerations

This is a high-output electrical accessory, so the supply wiring needs to match the job.

Before installation, confirm that the vehicle or auxiliary electrical system is suitable for the socket's required load.

The socket requires a29mm mounting hole and approximately63mm of clearance behind the mounting face.

Install it in a location that provides sufficient rear clearance for the socket body and wiring while keeping connections protected from movement, sharp edges and excessive heat.

The supplying circuit should use correctly sized wiring and appropriate fuse protection for the installation.

If you're unsure about the electrical requirements, have the socket installed by a qualified automotive or low-voltage electrical technician.

Important Starlink Mini Compatibility

Starlink specifies that powering Starlink Mini over USB requires a100W USB Power Delivery source capable of 20V/5A, together with an appropriate Starlink Mini USB-C power cable.

The QLEC socket is rated for up to 100W USB-C PD and is marketed for Starlink Mini applications.

For any Starlink Mini installation, confirm that the socket, cable and complete electrical system support the required USB Power Delivery profile before use.

Your vehicle wiring also needs to maintain sufficient input voltage and current under load.

To save on shipping costs you can select "Pickup In-Store" during checkout.

All items are available for collection from our store at The Bush Company,14 Cessna Street, Marcoola, QLD 4564.  Please note that due to insurance and health and safety issues, you cannot self-fit your purchase on our premises.

The Caprax Canopies by Rhinoman are also available for pickup from our warehouses in Melbourne and Perth, just select "Pickup In-Store" during checkout and we will contact you to confirm collection date and time.

International Delivery

Freight costs for international orders are calculated excluding customs duties and local sales taxes.  The receiver will be required to cover the costs of local import duties and sales taxes. Large Items (Courier Delivery Tents & Canopies)

Home Delivery

’Home Delivery ’ means a home or private residence, including locations where a business is operated from the home or private residence. For home delivery of rooftop tents and canopies a forklift must be available at the delivery point and truck access. We will contact you to confirm that his is the case.  Unloading by hand is not permitted by the couriers due to health and safety regulations. If, as is usually the case, you do not have a forklift available at your home address, we can arrange for your tent or canopy to be delivered to the nearest FEDEX freight depot/agent for collection from there.

Business Delivery

If you provide a commercial premises address for the delivery of your rooftop tent or canopy,  a forklift must be available at the delivery point and truck access. Unloading by hand is not permitted by the couriers due to health and safety regulations.

Depot Collection

Damage In Transit

If you or the person responsible for receiving your order does not check that the item has arrived in good condition prior to accepting it, The Bush Company cannot be held responsible for any claim for damage in transit.

When your order shipment arrives, it is essential that you check it thoroughly for any signs of damage before signing to accept the shipment.  This means checking the exterior box and if there are any signs of damage externally then the box should be opened, and the product examined for any signs of damage to the product itself.  This needs to be done before you sign anything to say that the item has been received, the driver needs to wait until you are satisfied.  If you are not satisfied with the condition of the item, then you are entitled to refuse delivery and the courier will have to return the product to us.

If you do not follow this procedure and it turns out that the item has been damaged in transit, then there is no way for The Bush Company to claim on the freight insurance to cover any damage.  If you sign anything and are not satisfied you must ensure that this is noted by the driver in writing and obtain a copy that is signed by the driver.
