Restore the effortless lift and secure closure of your rooftop tent with The Bush Company’s Replacement Gas Struts — precision-engineered for durability, balance, and long-term reliability in harsh Australian conditions. Designed as a direct OEM replacement for The Bush Company rooftop tents, these gas struts deliver the same dependable performance your tent had from day one.
Each gas strut is factory-rated to match the specific opening and closing forces required by your tent model. Whether you’re supporting the shell of an AX27, DX27, TX27, or LX27 rooftop tent, these struts ensure smooth, controlled motion for safe and consistent operation. Their calibrated pressure maintains reliable lift performance even after years of heavy touring use.
Constructed from corrosion-resistant steel with a protective black powder-coated finish, these gas struts are purpose-built for Australian off-road conditions. The sealed piston design prevents dust, grit, and moisture ingress, extending service life while maintaining steady compression and damping characteristics over time.
These struts are direct-fit replacements requiring no modification to your tent. Installation is simple — just remove the existing struts and replace them using the original mounting hardware. The design ensures perfect alignment and consistent pressure across all tent configurations, preserving the factory-engineered balance of your setup.
Each strut is individually tested for pressure consistency to ensure even lift across both sides of your rooftop tent. The balanced strength supports smooth tent deployment, prevents torsion on hinges, and maintains a stable open position — even in windy conditions or uneven ground setups.
Compatible with a range of The Bush Company rooftop tents, these replacement gas struts are part of the same precision-engineered accessory ecosystem trusted by overlanders across Australia. They mount seamlessly into your tent’s dedicated gas strut brackets framework for a precise and lasting fit.
