About Starlink Mini Power

Two ways to power a Starlink Mini on tour, plus the cable on its own. Pick your battery brand above, or use the Battery platform filter, to see only the versions that fit.

Tool battery kits

A USB-C adaptor that clips onto your 18V tool battery, plus a USB-C to 20V DC cable with a weatherproof plug for the Starlink Mini. Choose a 1.5m, 3m or 5m cable.

  • USB-C in/out up to 65W (PD3.0: 5V, 9V, 12V and 20V), plus a 5V USB-A port
  • Battery percentage display and low-voltage protection
  • Roughly 5 hours of Starlink Mini from a 12Ah battery
  • Recharge the battery through the adaptor's USB-C port from a 65W USB-C car or wall charger

Made for DeWalt, Milwaukee, Makita, Bosch, Ryobi ONE+ and AEG batteries.

Car kit

A 160W USB-C charger for 12–24V sockets, plus the same Starlink Mini cable. Run the dish on the move or at camp from the vehicle's power, and charge a phone from the second port.

Cable only

Already have a 65W (or bigger) USB-C PD source, like the Volt Step Down PRO? The USB-C to 20V DC Cable for Starlink Mini is sold on its own. Its chip asks the charger for the 20V the Starlink Mini needs.

Mount it

Pair a kit with our Starlink Mini Mount.

Questions

How long will a tool battery run my Starlink Mini?

Roughly 5 hours from a 12Ah battery. It varies with how hard the dish is working and the weather, so carry a second charged battery for longer days.

Can I use the cable that came with my Starlink Mini?

No. Use the cable in the kit. It has a chip that switches the adaptor to 20V, which the Starlink Mini needs. The genuine Starlink USB-C cable won't run from the adaptor.

Can I charge the tool battery through the adaptor?

Yes. The USB-C port works both ways: plug in a 65W (PD3.0, 20V) USB-C car or wall charger to recharge the battery.

Will the car kit work in a 24V truck?

Yes. The 160W car charger runs on 12–24V sockets.

Is this an official Starlink product?

No. These kits are made to power a Starlink Mini but aren't made, approved or endorsed by Starlink or SpaceX.
